Is Spring cleaning on your to-do list this week? Before you pull out the cleaning supplies, take a look at this great article on making your own chemical-free cleaning products. Why fill the air and coat your home with chemical-laden cleaners when most natural cleaners do the job just as well, if not better?
Going chemical-free can also save you money! Check out your pantry before you hit the store. You probably have most of the ingredients you need to create your own cleaning supplies. If not, you can purchase many items inexpensively at most grocery stores.
Here’s an easy recipe I use for homemade laundry detergent. My laundry comes out clean and smelling great!
Instructions: Mix all ingredients well and place in an air-tight container. Use 2-3 tablespoons per wash depending on size of load and type of washing machine. Energy-efficient machines generally require less detergent than standard washers.
